My report states: Two frond-like/villous polyps found in the hepatic flexure. Removed by cold snare polypectomy. As well as a single bleeding infiltrative polyp was found in the traverse colon, 40 cm from the entry site, removed by cold biopsy polypectomy. Clips were applied to control the bleeding. Mucosal resection was preformed. Chromoscopy procedure preformed. My questions are, what does frond like mean, where is hepatic flexure, what is meant by infiltrative polyp, & what is chrooscopy procedure?
This is a report from colonoscopy and not from an ultrasound exam. The doctor is prescribing this polyps but it is of not so important relevance for you. You have to check the histologic report of the byopses that were performed.
